In just 29 days, the heart of Nigeria will play host to one of Africa’s most electrifying strength sport events  the 14ᵗʰ African Armwrestling Championship and 7ᵗʰ Para-Armwrestling Championship, taking place July 23–27, 2025, at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Organized under the leadership of Hon. Adeboye Adeyinka, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Abuja 2025 promises a dynamic celebration of raw power, elite athleticism, and African unity.

With participation from over 20 African nations, expect:

• Explosive matchups from the continent’s best armwrestlers

• Thrilling moments in men’s, women’s, junior, and para categories

• Displays of resilience, skill, and unbreakable determination
