AACABUJA 2025

The 14th Africa Armwrestling Championship will feature an action-packed five-day competition with various categories for both male and female athletes. The schedule will include:

Day One

Arrival of teams & Registration.
Accreditation & Technical meeting

Africa Congress meeting

Day Two

Weight in for all athletes

Classification for all disabled

Referee seminar

Opening Ceremonies

Day Three

Left Arm for all categories

Final Left Arm

Doping Control, Award ceremony

Day Four

Right Arm for all categories

Finals Right Arm

Doping Control, Award ceremony

Day Five

Teams Departure

WEIGHT CLASSES AND AGE GROUP.

POINTS DISTRIBUTION:

According with the approved pointing system, Team classification will be made based on Gold,

Silver and Bronze medals.

Only in case that two teams have the same number of gold, silver and bronze medals the

position of the two will be established by the following pointing system:

1st place = 10 points 4th place = 4 points 7th place = 1 point

2nd place = 7 points 5th place = 3 points

3rd place = 5 points 6th place = 2 points

Additionally, for the para-athletes the quadrennial qualification system, Para-Armwrestling

Qualification Rules apply starting October 2022.

A detailed match schedule will be released closer to the event.
